Mark Fisher founded the company in Newport, Maine in 1843. The company later moved to New Jersey. Mr. Higgins left hand is on the lever that controls the air coming into the fire. And a bucket of water stands nearby. Osmond built his house at 475 Seawall Road, Map 19 - Lot 48, MHPC #405-1016, across the road and several lots toward Southwest Harbor from the Benson's land, in 1917.
