Ralph Warren Stanley and his Uncle Lew standing on the Milliken's dock next to the ship Niliraga, a twenty-eight foot schooner. In the summer of 1952 Ralph worked on the boat with Uncle Lew and would take the Milliken family out fishing.

This image was in a collection of Ballard's Hinckley negatives. It does not appear to be a boat made by Hinckley, but perhaps it was used as part of the Hinckley operation.

According to Earl Brechlin, the location of the cabins appears to be just east of Little Harbor Brook between Seal Harbor and Northeast Harbor. The view is looking towards the southwest from the hill on the north side of Route 3. If you zoom in above the place you can just make out the bridge over the stream which is tidal at that point. The little island fits with topos of the area. There's a large estate there now. The back of the card indicates that the cabins were owned by Arthur and Evelyn Gibbs.

The other will fly the flag of Cummins Catherwood of Philadelphia. The yachts are. on ways of Henry R. Hinckley & Co. Shipwrights expect Mr. Haskell's craft will be launched in April or May. The tentative date for the other launching is June 17." The Catherwood boat was the Valhalla. The Haskell boat was the Nirvana.
