Lena G. Norwood was born to Joseph B. and Rhoda May (Lurvey) Norwood on April 19, 1897 in Tremont, Maine. Lena married Austin Malvery Mitchell (1892-1954) on October 28, 1916 in Southwest Harbor, Maine. At one time Lena worked as a maid for the Underwood family at "Squirrelhurst" in Southwest Harbor and worked on the staff at the Claremont Hotel. Lena G. (Norwood) Mitchell died on January 15, 1992 in Bar Harbor, Maine.
