Colson Henry Robbins was born in 1858 in Maine. He married Elizabeth A. Sprague (1857-1912), daughter of Lemuel R. and Nancy M. (Rumill) Sprague on February 10, 1878 in Tremont, Maine.

Dr. Willis Watson of Bass Harbor “owned most of the islands in the Opechee group during the late 1880s and 1890s and kept a dairy farm on Pond Island.”
Colson Robbins died on March 21, 1935 in Southwest Harbor, Maine.
