Andrew J. Gott (1838-1914) was born on January 18, 1838 at Gotts Island. Andrew married Caroline “Caddie” Lucy Welch (1848-1930), daughter of Laurence Welch and Rachel (Moore) Welch, on June 12, 1864. Andrew J. Gott died on December 20, 1914 at Bar Harbor, Maine and Caroline Lucy (Welch) Gott died there on April 17, 1930.
