Inez Ivey (Olson) Krantz was born to John Olson and Hulda Erickson on July 29, 1898 in Sweden. She married Oscar Ove Krantz (1888-1968). Their son, Arvid Emery Krantz (1920-1997), named his lobster boat, Frances Inez, for his mother and his daughter, Frances (Krantz) Johnson (1946-).
