Eugene Shubael Thurston’s Post Office

Eugene Shubal Thurston Sr. (1881-1961) was Postmaster in Southwest Harbor from December 22, 1921 to April 25, 1934. The first photograph was taken during that time. The second photograph shows the present day [2015] structure in the same location.
