The Clark Point Area and Greening Island
The photograph on the left was taken circa 1888 - 1897 and the photo on the right is an aerial image of Clark Point Area and Greenings Island by Rogier van Bakel, Eager Eye Photo on May 7, 2015. Both were taken from Freeman Ridge in Southwest Harbor.
The library is most grateful to photographer Rogier van Bakel of Eager Eye Photo, who came with his quad-copter mounted camera from Somesville to volunteer his time and expertise to make a companion piece to our circa 1888 photograph of Clark Point.
